Siena 6/26/2008:

Last Monday, at 7.00 p.m., our campaign ended.
The Board of Directors of the University of Siena has renewed for six months its contract with Radiocecinauno. S.r.l.

Thanks to all of you, we could use this term for starting again a new cycle, and for definitely ending two difficult years of FdF 99,4 Mhz history, the first italian college radio.

The job done in these days has joined the different souls of a group which in a voluntary way propose, since 1998, an original broadcasting philosophy and whose aim for the future is to become more well-adjusted in the whole city community, promoting cultural and aggregation events.

These web pages will remain on-line as a direct evidence of the campaign. This "stuff" belong to you who take a stand and spread the news.

Siena 6/18/2008:

Facoltà di Frequenza FM 99,4 Mhz, the first italian collage radio, is at risk of being closed down July 1st.

Few days ago, we've become acquainted with the fact that the University of Siena is not going to renew its contract with Radiocecinauno. S.r.l.

This will interrupt our broadcasting as a whole, both the FM and the online streaming because our technical equipment is of property of the holder of the frequency.

We ask everyone to take a stand, spread the news, forward our plea and join our campaign so an important for Italian radio broadcasting history will not die.
